Ozone’s signature Bamboo cocktail is a feast for the senses that combines East Asian flavors with classic Mediterranean herbs. Its base, the refreshing Brazilian spirit cachaça, is currently on trend and breaking loose from the standard caipirinha, says Ozone Bar Manager Miguel Fernandez Fernandez. “Like Hong Kong in terms of culture, the drink is a melting pot of flavors,” he notes. “Guests smell the Mediterranean herbs and experience the fresh taste of lemongrass and ginger on their palates.”
To serve yours the Ozone way, try charring the herbs for a toasted finish — and then imbibing among the clouds.
- 1.5 ounces cachaça infused with Sencha tea
- 1 tablespoon homemade lemongrass ginger syrup
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Ginger beer to top
Stir all ingredients together gently and pour over crushed ice. Garnish with mint, basil and rosemary.
